 Intake gaskets Replacing the gaskets on my intake tonight. "Sealer" I bought says "never hardens". Does this mean I don't have to leave the truck sitting over night while the sealer cures? Seems like an obvious answer, but I really don't want to do this twice.

1972 Sport, 302, 3 speed with old school Duff floor shifter, T shift Dana 20 with JB Fab twin stick, 4.11 gears with Trac-loc, Lincoln hydroboost, Chevy disc conversion, WH gas lift gate shock kit, 33" Duratrac tires on slots and about 2.5" of lift, Stroppe installed: bumper braces, dual shocks on all four corners, GM power steering, trans cooler mount, auto shift column, rollbar.

Right Stuff works great for intake end seals and a light film around the water ports.

Re: Intake gaskets When I was putting the 302 together this summer, I came across this video. It's exactly what I followed. No sealer, nothing but a little spray glue to hold things in place during assembly. So far I'm happy

Re: Intake gaskets Wish my PO had watched that video. He used nothing but silicone. Two of the coolant passages looked like the arteries of a man who had eaten nothing but deep fried foods for his entire life. They were seriously close to 50% blocked.
