Dana 60s swap question
So I found a few Dana 60's on Craigslist and found a pair that came out of a 2001 Dodge 3/4 ton with v-10. I was hoping for some late 70's Ford variations but was wondering if these would work or not. Front is Drivers side drop but I have no idea what other issues I should be looking for. Thanks as always.
Drew

Re: Dana 60s swap question
Those era dodge's liked to chew up ball joints and wheel bearings. I also believe the 60's also had a unit bearing/hub assembly on the front. They also have a 2 piece passenger inner axle setup for the disconnect dodge had on them. So if it was me i'd pass on them and wait for a ford axle to come up. I know the guy from broncoair has a few. He posted them on colorado4x4.org. http://broncoair.com/
