Post saginaw pump pushing out air? bleed more?
So I started up my rig tonight and when I shut it down the saginaw steering pump hissed air. I have a cooler, ram , steering box. Is it just purging air?

You will need to et the air out. Air in the system could be a leaking fitting?
Keep purging. You may have to resort to a vacuum purge?

x2. My guess is that you've already been messing with it, but you've got a lot of volume to fill. How much fluid have you put in the system so far?

The pump will do that until you get all the air bled out of the system. Did you jack the front up and cycle the steering wheel, etc... to get all the initial air out? Basically, the system has to be bled like brakes do to get all the air out.

If you've done a good job getting all the air out, then continued cavitation will indicate an issue.
