spongy brakes I need help bleeding I think
I have been trying to bleed the brakes solo and I think I'm sucking air into the system. I have brakes but I have to pump up pressure. I think I need a pedal pumper and be able to watch the flow. Here is my setup cuz everyone asks
JBG booster kit Disc disc proportion valve Gm rear calipers 3/4 ton front brakes New lines from Mc down to axles Have no leaks as far as I can see. Bleed valves are up as much as possible Booster has vac Adjusted pin on booster into Mc
I bought a mity vac but it seems to be a little hard to keep it sealed
Any advice

Re: spongy brakes I need help bleeding I think
I assume your doing one wheel at a time. I always start with the furthest back from the mc - passenger rear then work my way forward.
You really need someone to pump the brakes while you open and class the bleed screw.
I open. Pump 3-4 times then pedal all the way down close screw. Let up on pedal. Then pedal down and open screw. Then close screw. Pedal release. Pedal down. Open screw. Repeat 6 or 7 times until no air bubbles seen.
Sometimes it helps to not open the bleeder fully as some air sneaks in at the screw. Also I always run a clear tube off the bleeder screw into a bottle to help the mess and watch.
This works for me but your mileage will vary ;)

It's just almost impossible to do it solo. I prefer old school bleeding procedure and closing the bleeder on a down stroke
