351 GT40 lower question

 351 GT40 lower questionI picked up a 351 GT lower and has a smaller oil baffle plate. After searching online for a little while I ran by an article that mentioned oil consumption on the first run. They use to make a baffle plate for these that you could install but, that is long gone. I was thinking of welding on my own and more than likely will but was wondering if anyone else has this style? I also read that some of the knock off brands have this same size oil baffle.
