 Space between radiator and fan Just want to confirm I'm good. I've got 1.5 inches between the two now.

If so, good.
I had a flex fan that was about 1" at the bottome and it ate the radiator when I hit a big pothole.

Re: Space between radiator and fan My friend trashed a fan and radiator while crossing a flooded street witha CDOT truck. It seems the water was so deep that the fan was able to "bite" into the water and pull the blades forward into the radiator.
Makes me reconsider or rethink a deep water crossing next time I come across one.

Re: Space between radiator and fan We used to shred radiators and fans in Humvees back in the day. Stupid fans would almost disintegrate in the slightest bit of water.
