Full width track bar options
Let me preface this by saying I do not plan to run full widths. However, the Baja is currently sitting on them to make it a roller. And the future owner of the full widths will likely have the same question if I don't line up a solution prior to him taking ownership.
So, for the guys running full widths, what are you using for track bars? What modifications were required? What kind of cost was associated?
TIA

Re: Full width track bar options
DOM and heim on one end. Haven't worked out the other end yet, as I want to run a bushing to give a little give and haven't found a solution that brings me enough joy. I'd agree with the $60 estimate. I may wind up with a spare piece of DOM. No mods. I thought I'd need a bend in the track bar due to above average up-travel, but I think I gained enough oil pan room with the change in motor mounts and slight drop at the upper track bar bracket.

Re: Full width track bar options
I cut off the frame end of my stock track bar & welded DOM with 1" ID (I think I remember right) added a bung & heim joint at the frame end. I had to slightly grind down the stock bar a little to slide into the DOM.
Pretty cheap.

Re: Full width track bar options
I take the existing EB track bar and cut/grind/weld in the adjustable section of a large set of tie rods, like SD size. They can be had pretty cheap from the 'yards and allow you to adjust where the axle tracks as springs sag, etc... Joe
