I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I can't find the information I'm looking for. Can I use an A9L ECM if I have a C6 transmission? If not, why? If not, are there any mods that can be done to make it work besides a transmission swap?
I've read some forums that say an A9L absolutely will not work with an auto trans and others that say it doesn't matter.

It will work. The computer doesn't care what transmission it is and the transmission doesn't care about anything electronic.
