Push rod Length

Postby Kinder » Thu Jun 15, 2017 10:56 am

Finally getting close to firing up the 351 in TFB's bronco, it's a 95 roller with 96 GT40 heads, stock rockers and the popular cam that Viper is running. So the question is what length pushrods are the rest of the folks that have essentially the same setup running?

Alternatively, is someone able to lend a pushrod length determination tool so I can sort it out?

Kirk,

I'm traveling at the moment so can't tell you what I'm running. I can check when I get home and let you know.

The stock ones were too short for mine and I can donate them if they happen to work for you.

If you round up a gauge / tool I wouldn't mind boring it as well because to determine if I can quiet mine down a bit more.

I just bought a pushrod length checker. I'll bring it Saturday to the swap meet.
