Heater wiring

Postby mustangjonny84 » Fri Aug 04, 2017 6:06 pm

So, I've got my truck in the garage for an overall dashboard sprucing up. (uncut dash, dash pad, Retrosound stereo and speaker, refreshed gauge, steering wheel, etc.) As a part of the project, I'm going back to an OEM heater box. My truck came with a Vintage Air system that was only partially installed. It just didn't have the look or functionality that I wanted.

So I got a stock box, got some stock knobs, replaced the heater core, replaced all the seals, upgraded to the Shivy motor/fan, and now I'm really starting from scratch on the wiring. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this? Google's really letting me down. Three connections on the knob, two connections on the resistor, and then power-n-ground on the motor. What goes where? Any help would be appreciated!

I think at like page 28 is the heater wiring.

Don't forget to also ground the blower motor

For sure! That Shivy motor is a little conspicuous on how to ground it. I'm glad a bench tested it before putting it in.
