The Grand Mesa Jeep Club & Jimmy's 4x4 invites you to join us at the Avalon for the 2012 King of the Hammers - Rise of the East Movie on January 19, 2013. The proceeds from the tickets sales go to support of Breast Cancer Research and Survivors through Crawling for a Cure. This race is the toughest combination of desert style racing mixed with hard core rock crawling over a 160 mile course in Johnson Valley CA with over 130 competitors. Female drivers Cottin Rodd and Dale Znamenacek will give a 15 minute presentation before the race to discuss what it's like to race in the toughest off road race in the United States."
