Snow Wheeling

Postby Justin » Tue Apr 30, 2013 7:51 pm

or really any wheeling at all. A buddy of mine will be in town this weekend and is interested in going wheeling. I think I can make either Saturday or Sunday work. I'm thinking there should be some stuff open around central city, Rollinsville or possibly go up to Bill Moore Lake. That said, we'll go just about anywhere. Anyone interested in seeing if we can find some snow?

If you wanted to travel I am sure Cherokee Park is full of snow, unfortunately I am stuck In Illinois this week or I would love to go. Nobody up here seems to want to wheel anymore.

I'd love to go Justin but I work this week end. I've got this weekend and next weekend then I'm done. No more working 7 days a week!

I'll be ready after that though!

So I was looking to do a test run up that way tommorow.
I finally got extend drive shafts.
This would be my first wheeling trip a long time over due.
I just need an easy 45-50 mph route;-) for the big gears.

There's been some discussion of hitting up some of the northern trails this summer. Make some suggestions and lets see if we can get something set up!

I'm good with slow going, had been thinking pretty seriously about Bill Moore Lake, although I suspect it's under more snow that my 35's will allow. I'm open to suggestions.

Talked with 75DBE's son last night during a brake job and he said Mount Baldy is packed with snow.

It's on W Platte River Rd., upstream from where the Platte river joins up and enters Waterton Canyon. A few miles north of Deckers.
