Shawn, are we meeting at your place before going ?

Or will that be too early for your kids, etc ?

I'm cool with that. My house is 15-20 minutes from Lyons. If we meet at 7:45 we can have breakfast (egg casserole, dougnuts, coffee). Then head out to Lyons around 8:30 to check in. Hows that sound?

Just an update:
Most likely we'll be doing general "digging out" work inside the town of Lyons. The Lyons Volunteer Coordinators will be going up to Big Elk Meadows (a neighboring community higher up the canyon) this Saturday to determine the need for help. The coordinator said he'd know more after this weekend if we want to come back again. Also, he said a grill would be a good idea. I'll bring a little grill and brats. If you want to partake in the food, sign-up. I'm thinking enough for 10 grown-ups and Jeff.
Oh, age 13-17 can work with the Lyons highschoolers at another site in Lyons.
Grill, Supplies and Brats-- Shawn
Buns--BNC04
Venison flavored chips- Viper
Sauerkraut and condoms- Rox
Plates-- Kinder
Forks and Napkins--Kinder
Potato or Mac Salad or something food wise- Landshark and Mrs. Landshark

I'd like to know who's planning on meeting at my house for breakfast. Send me a PM and I'll send my addy. 7:45.
Looking forward to it!

If I recall.......

Spent the rest of the season wearing out shoe leather trying to find elk. Shot a bunny on the last day to help fill the cooler.

I will be riding up with the Kinder clan, Drew is joining us and bringing a few more pals who want to help (read - "need the volunteer hrs to graduate"). They have all registered but I could not imagine riding in Drews rig with that bunch.... ugh!

I will bring a flat of water bottles for the work crew.
