I finally got my work and my other boss to grant the time off  I will be there. Does anyone who will be there have a little extra space for a Bronco to park. I am planning on sleeping in it but it would be nice not to have to look for a place every night.

Hey gents, I have had a reservation for a spot in a RV park in Buena Vista since the first of December. It will hold a large motor coach. It looks like I will not be able to make this at this time. I am going to have to cancel and thought I would say something here before I do and see if there is someone needing a site. My days were Sept 6 to Sept 13. If you PM me I will let them know who would like that space in my place. I am sure this is going to have a waiting list for openings at the RV Park. I hate that I am not going to be able to attend, and hope someone from here can use the spot.

Send a PM and I will get back to you if you have an interest. I will then let them know you are calling as soon as I hang up. That way it should be all good. I hope.

That sounds a little over board for me. My plan is to pick a forest road, A full rv spot would be a bit much.

No worries, I am sure you can find what you want. I was thinking someone with an RV could use the spot. I just canceled it and they had a waiting list. Enjoy.

Looks at that!! Surely there is footage of that. Would like to see how it faired at French Creek.

Thanks Gary, just was not in the cards for us this year I guess. I will see it soon hopefully. What I will really miss is the folks I have wheeled with or new friends we would make.

Yes that is some good vague info.

But it would be nice to say where it going to be held. Are they gonna just set up in the middle of the rodeo grounds or in the parking lot?

They could post some info like when B.R.O.N.CO and Utah did the Moab Bronco Safari with maps and meet up times for the trail runs, they had a separate website and facebook page with tons of info.

It just seems they are waiting to see if it gets canceled.

Or...fear of putting a lot of work into an event that might get cancelled.

I'm sure you won't miss the locations and maybe they will have a drivers meeting every morning. I wonder if you called Bronco Driver that you might get more info?

COLORADO SUPER CELEBRATION

Postby landshark » Tue Sep 01, 2020 7:24 am

I imagine with this being the first time and the obvious situation outside the event, there will be some teething issues that we will all have to work through. The rodeo grounds aren’t that big and I bet there will be signs and details at check in.

Personally I am just happy something is happening.

I'm with Landshark I am happy to have an event after missing the Safari. It may be a little disjointed, I am not sure what to expect but I felt the same way when I went to my first Safari.

Well, I feel like a total groupie showing up to Super Celebration West without my Bronco, but I'm doing it anyway. I regretfully don't have my 66 Bronco anywhere near ready to roll and won't for a while. I wish life, work, and school didn't always get in the way. I would love to reconnect with Colorado guys and meet some new folks from all over. Anyone got an extra seat for one of the trail rides? I'd love to rekindle my enthusiasm for what a running driving bronco could mean in the future. I'll be staying in BV with my family Wednesday - Friday; sad to miss the weekend but can't miss this event.

It's really looking like my Bronco won't make it. If anyone has an extra seat, I'd love to be able to ride along. I'll be getting there on Wednesday so would like to find a seat on Thursday and Friday.

In the mean time, everyone can cross their fingers that somehow I pull this off and somehow get the bronco there.

I will be running on Thursday and Friday. Holy Cross and Chinaman I have a seat for either. Not sure which day is which. I am sure I am not the only one. The only cost will be to take pictures with my camera.
