I think you all are missing the true quality standard of craftsmanship demonstrated in the picture... Yes that is one awesome umm.... "roll cage"
But the fact that the fabricator cut the top off with a sawzall and then filled the dead space with spray foam which was then covered with drywall compound and painted black (yes there were places it had busted away - he did not even use bondo, drywall mud!) and the left over spray foam he used to stop the rattles in the roof between the supports and roof (seen in the picture).
I would actually be supprised if he did not fill the ummm..... "roll cage-ish thingy" with spray foam too, just to make it more structurally sound...
