Swap Meet-30 March-UPDATED!

Postby Justin » Mon Feb 11, 2013 8:23 am

The time has come for another CCB Swap Meet! The one we did last year was a success, unless you owned 3 speed transmissions, and was a good opportunity to raise some money for the club. For those that weren't able to attend, club members had the option to donate proceeds from the sale of their parts to help cover the costs of running the site and other club operations. This year we've got something special that will take some funds, and we'll be doing the same thing. We're also going to be accepting scrap metal for donation, so please don't throw away those old brake drums/engine blocks/Yugos just yet.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

There is something very, very cool that we're going to pull the wraps off of at the event. The goal is that it'll be something that can provide some opportunities to get together, learn and give back the the community. It'd be great if everyone had the chance to see whats up!

When: Saturday, 3/30/13 8:00am
Where: Golden Corral
3677 S Santa Fe Dr
Sheridan, CO

I'm in and available any weekend in the spring as of now. I have lots of stuff that isn't going on the bronco and isn't worth posting for sale.

Bring it on up! If you want rid of anything you can't sell, we'll take it off your hands as scrap.

So what you're saying is I can't bring BOTH of my 3 speeds? How about my 3 speed adapter and cast iron bell housing?

That top loader will be making an appearance, not for scrap, but for sale.

I am sure that my 3 speed is in better shape than any other 3 speed that will be at the swap meet.

And I am sure there will be a few other parts to sell as well.

I'm thinking mid-March as well. I'm booked up the first weekend, and the second isn't all that hot either. The only perk there might be to going later is a better chance of good weather.

I don't think a date has been mentioned yet, but how does everyone feel about 30 March?

Couple of hours at least. Breakfast is usually 45 minutes to an hour with at least an hour of hanging out in the parking lot. This will likely run longer. If there's consensus to bump this to 9am that'd be fine.
