Swap Meet 3.30.13

Postby Booger » Sat Mar 30, 2013 10:55 am

Had a great time seeing some old friends and meeting some new friends. I didn't buy or trade anything but there were some nice parts there. Oh and Greg has quite a load of scrap in the back of his truck too. Project 33x2 looks like it's going to be a great teaching aid to all in the club. It was great to see the guys from ACB as well.

NICE!!!!! Had a great time today. Afterwards Landshark and myself went to my buddies shop and looked over his EFI. The thing is dialed in pretty damn close. But as with all good things comes bad. The alternator went out on my truck on the drive home.

Hopefully someone took photos. I meant to but forgot before I had to leave. Wish I could've stayed longer.

This turned out to be a great community event. I may have missed a rig or two in the comings and goings, but I think we had 17 EBs show up. Several new faces were present, including someone who won the long distance award by driving down from Wyoming. Project 33x2 was introduced to the group, which should be an excellent platform for the community to hang out and share some knowledge. We also collected a ton of scrap (literally) to help fund 33x2. It was great to see everyone and see a ton of nice parts trading hands. I'm looking forward to a summer full of Bronco goodness!

I think I actually came back heavier than I left. And I'm not talking about the breakfast I ate either. On a positive note, my hard top didn't hit the garage door opener so I guess all the weight isn't that bad?

And I got 16 mpg thanks to HWY 105!
