Riding the Black Hills of South Dakota

Postby ClayJ » Wed Aug 28, 2013 12:04 pm

We had to cross Wyoming. How can it be so hot in the summer and so cold in the winter?

We were the first to arrive on a nasty head on collision. We spent 90 minutes trying to help. 3 fatalities and 1 survivor.

Eventually life and the ride must go on.

We did a similar trip many years ago and it was one of my favorites. I think it may have been my wife and my first vacation together.

That crash looks nasty. Hard to see a nicely restored classic destroyed, but certainly those who lost their lives overshadows that.
1973 Bronco, 351 SEFI, Locked, discs, 35's ZF-5spd and Atlas 4spd. 235:1 Crawl Ratio. It may be ugly, but it's slow.

That looks like an amazing trip. Sorry to hear about the tragedy en route, that is a really tough thing to witness.

I appreciate all of the pictures, comments, and recommendations. Looks like a great trip that I want to do someday.
