Grand Junction Events

Postby ak68 » Tue Feb 18, 2014 8:58 pm

How about we get some broncos to the west slope for these great June Events. June 4-6 is the 2014 Rock Junction that features trail rides from scenic to extreme. You can do some searching and find pictures and videos of previous years Rock Junctions. This is followed on the 7th by the GMJC Offroad Show at the Mesa County Fairgrounds. Lots of fun to be had.

I've asked off from work for Moab this year but things aren't looking promising. If that falls through, I might seriously consider coming out for Rock Junction.

x2. It's doubtful I'll have my truck ready for Moab, so Rock Junction might be a great alternative. I'd like to see us do some stuff out your way.

Count me in. I'd love to see some Front Rangers make it out.

Maybe...I'll save the last 1k miles on Stroppe'd and make this it's last journey before going under the knife. Been wanting to stretch the legs on it a bit.

Sounds cool, I saw the jeep club in the Christmas parade last year.

So, you got a job a week before Moab? What were you thinking?

Just finished my registration. I added a passenger registration also. I doubt my wife will ride with me so I might be able to take someone with me on some easy scenic trails.

Sorry, I can't make it. We have a full work schedule, and I just busted the bank on an Atlas.

It would be good to see you but I know what you mean about busting the bank. The atlas should be a good upgrade rather than a rebuild and low gear set in a dana 20.

Surgery is keeping me from coming out. And the dinky tires (no offense, Mike) currently on my Bronco. Otherwise, it would make for a fitting send off to the old Stroppe'd.

Sorry about the surgery. Dinky tires aren't a good excuse though since some of the trails are suitable for subarus :-)
