Re: Holly cross
I'd like to go. I don't know how far up the trail my rig can make it. French creek crossing might be a little much for my 33 limited slip no rock sliders setup.

Early or late August. Seem like we should set a date and make it happen.

Re: Holly cross
The later in August the more likely I'd be ready. I'd love to make this run this summer.

Re: Holly cross
I would definitely be interested in this trip. My bronco is ready but I'll have to see how my vacation travel goes before I can commit. I've just started on a deck project that I'm hoping to complete by August so that shouldn't get in the way. Going to Vegas, San Diego and Hawaii between August and October though so it'll all depend on that. I'm happy to be a trail leader or tail gunner. Or just go anywhere in between.

Re: Holly cross
The trail can get busy and you do have to be careful with taking less experienced drivers and less capable rigs as that quickly backs up the trail. I think Labor Day weekend is one of the busier days on the trails in general.
It is an awesome trail and if you have interest you should do it. Get an early start and leave room for more capable rigs to get thru the group.

Interested, but need to be later in August. Need to finish the steering, hydroboost, seats, bumper, and winch I started before my summer classes.

Re: Holly cross
Sounds good, need the motivation to get my projects done. Is there any place to leave a tow rig and trailer in the area?

Re: Holly cross
So what time would we start this on the 27th? Is that day for sure happening? How difficult is this trail and what is required to run it? I'm pretty sure the 27th works for me depending on how early we'd plan on starting...
