I have a cabin reserved but not 100% sure I am going. Still need to plate my frame and figure out a fuel issue. Going back to work in DOD has kept me really busy lately.

Hope the DOD gig is less frustrating than the last. Good luck on the plating & fuel issues.

Thanks, it is less frustrating and I basically have doubled my income. My goal is to address the issues with the Bronco and go to the Safari, just would like to make a trip without major breakage.

I checked Moab Rim before I left the Safari last year and all that was available was camping and RV spots.

A lot. And I'm out of town for a week. I need to figure out my front suspension install my gas tank and plumb. Bend a roll cage and determine a crossmember for the c6 and 203/205. Then figure how much sheet metal I need to move or cut to fit 37s under the rig. After I finish installing the new gears and lockers....and get a grasp on shocks and drive shafts.

But I think it is doable. Probably going to be paired with some primer or other rattle can just to cover the metal

So doesn't look like many people are looking to make this event. Hope more people decide to go.

Thinking at this point might just run the Bronco as is for the Safari and then re-do after the Safari. I threw another wrench in things though, starting a new job again in a couple weeks.

Hopefully it's a good fit. New job might make it difficult to get time off I bet. Hope it works out.

Probably not. I’m pretty sure one of my friends will fly in to ride shotgun. I’ve got a house rented.
