$550 Project! -- Not mine

There may be some parts in there. Doesn't look much like a 66 to me.

Saw that yesterday.

Ad says title status: clean
Description says no title
I don't see the glovebox door, so has the VIN and title been sold?

'66 didn't have side marker lights

A lot of bent parts too

Does the seller mean $800 total with the engine?

And that raises more questions than answers.
Didn't they sell the 351 last week?

IIRC the VIN translates as a 74. Could be wrong though.

I told Daniel it would end up here like this. He wanted me to post it, I told him I would not. So he put it on Craig's list and has had a ton of interest.

He needs cash, his truck is broken down. And like his mom, as soon as life gets difficult They both go Chicken Little and the sky is falling.

Long story short, I think I talked him out of selling the bronco

At least for now.

Bronco vin does in fact decode as a 74. Was sold to him as a 66 last summer w/o title There is no glove box door or VIN/warranty plate. Only obvious part that reflects it as a 66 is the Dana 30. But who knows. The PO claims he has the title and glove box door but of course he has not been able to find either.

Daniel is not looking to register or drive it on the street, he wants to build a trail rig so this is no big deal, if he decides that he wants to plate it at some point down the road, we will do a title search, pull a marti report and find a glove box door. If it turns out that there is one already titled we will probably just buy another title and door.

The tub is actually in pretty good shape, typical rust in the door posts and rockers but otherwise it is in decent shape. The whole front clip is dented, twisted and thrashed. We have better replacement body parts already picked up from members and Craigslist.

So he has now decided to keep it

The engine is still for sale, comes complete with harness, all accessories even the full exhaust and ECM He is asking $350 for the engine, it needs rebuilt. And he is open to offers

Hope that helps

That 351 casting number decodes as a 1990 block.

If it was an actual 1994 engine it would be a roller block.

Well there you go

Again, it was sold to him as a 94, it came out of a 94 f250. Of all the despicable things someone could do, miss represent a worn out engine out of an old beat up pick up

All I know is when I spoke with you about the engine yesterday you were absolutely forthcoming that it was a non-roller in need of a total rebuild.

It is too bad the guys you bought it from weren't the same way about it.

PS......you still owe me some pics of a certain young man's week end antics.

Thank you Justin, I figure there is no point trying to mislead or misrepresent anything here, most know far more than I do anyhow.

As far as the pics, I will send them to you too, but be careful what you ask for...
