Haven’t been on here for some time, but figured I would post to the old club before going mainstream. Didn’t know if I should post here or the Misc category...Clean 1979 F150. Have had this for 4 years as a part time daily driver. It is very clean for a dent side era truck that is 42 yrs old. May even consider it a barn find.
Previous owner had it painted & rebuilt. Has 300ci I6, NP435 4 speed, NP205 transfer case along with the 9” rear axle and HP dana 44.
Has 4 actual “Shelby” slots 15x8 wheels (with proof, have a matching spare tire but it’s not an actual Shelby wheel like the ones on it). 32 inch BFG’s with 13/32 tread. Newer radiator, master cylinder, Offy intake, headman header, holly carb and flowmaster exhaust. Very clean interior although the lower seat cover has a split/ wear. Driver window could use a new regulator but does function. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. Gets plenty of looks (sorry for the sun glare in the pics) and 16mpg. I rate the paint 7 to 8’ish out of 10. I garage this truck daily.
