I will take the front grill and I would consider the top as well. Stock oil pan if it is in there maybe.
Now with disk brakes, has turned into my sons daily driver while he is home on Christmas break.

So...
Every body panel is scratch and dent. Hood and "top" especially are in Excellent condition!
He has everything in it like headliner, chrome moldings and the like.
Front Drivers tire is off (it's in the rear of the bed) and hub is off. Sitting down in the dirt about 6".
Dana 30 / NO DISC

I couldn't see real far up under it, being a low rider and all, but seems to be really, really rust-less for being on the ground.
Inner Pass. fender/rust (drivers side good)
Tailgate/rust
289? I think? It moves freely. No PS No PB

Perfect steering wheel.
Great rear seat. No rust in the bed, fenders, or quarters

All leaf springs and shackles are there, just minus the 9" rear end.

"KEN" is a wonderful guy and might end up parting it out, but wants it off the property as a whole 1st!

He also has a separate - real nice full top and 2 real nice rt/lt doors for sale.

It definitely needs a trailer and winch to get her free!

Good luck boys!

I think he said $400 for the other top and ~$200 each for the doors.

I spent some time looking at this Bronco tonight.

Here is what I saw.....

When he removed the rear axle he then dropped the tub on the ground.

It damaged everything across the back of the truck. Quarters are rolled forward and buckled, tailgate has some big holes in it.

Like mickphatmac said it is mostly rust free.

Top is in ok shape but needs work, there are dents in strange places, no back glass.
1 door might be easy to use, the other door has a big dent.
Floor has a little rust, pass inner front fender has rust.
Fenders are hammered, Grill is hammered, hood is ok, but has some dents across the front. Didn't see stress cracks from the front bumper stops.
Steering wheel is good

Dana 30 is missing parts, it is buried up to the top of the knuckle. I didn't see a spindle.
Rear was dropped on the ground 10 years ago and that is where it sits, not to dug in.

Didn't see if the motor was stuck, but looks complete but been exposed for a long time.
3 speed manual might be good but who cares they are free. He said there was a t-case still under it but couldn't verify.

The only place I could see the frame (front driver side) there was a 1" x 2" chunk cut out right above the track bar mount.

Sorry, I didn't pay attention to see if the windshield frame was good. We started to talk value and when he said he was firm on his price I pretty much stopped looking.

It is going to take hours to get it free, he has a tractor that he said he will help with.

Based on what you were all looking to pull off it I don't know that anyone would actually be able to use much. With no title and not much to salvage I didn't see $1000 worth of usable parts, IMO. I also think that when it gets pulled out of the dirt the whole tub will be tweaked, maybe frame too.

If you guys want it I will go give him a deposit to hold it until someone has time to go dig it out. He was a super nice guy and I think pretty honest. I think he would hold it for a week or two.

So if I read this thread correctly there are the following good parts are available on the truck:

Top (After replacing the rear window)
Hood
Steering Wheel
Driver Door (after replacing the wing window)
Windshield Frame (Maybe)
Body (If you replace the rear quarters, rear corners, left and right front fenders and grill)
302 CID (May or may not run but would need an overhaul)
"T Shift" Dana 20 (Maybe)
3 Speed Transmission (Maybe)
Frame (Maybe If Patched and not twisted)
Dana 30 Front Axle (after replacing the missing parts and is not rotted from sitting buried in the mud)

Those of you that have seen it, is there anything I missed? What would you estimate the value to really be?

I would be interested in the T shift. I do not have a trailer but I do have a truck with a 10000 lbs crane that could help. We can also store this for a short time out by my house.

If a deal can be made, I can go with Kevin and pick it up with my trailer. I'll keep it on the trailer until the breakfast when we could all grab parts and then figure out what to do with the rest of it. Maybe some parts could go to the Project Bronco. If we do this I would like the hood..

Mike and I are planning to head up tomorrow to have a look. The two of us understand it might be rough and likely not worth the asking price, but we're willing to have a look just the same.

No matter what we decide as far as purchase goes, pics will be posted.

I'd like to get the steering wheel. If somebody drags this thing out, please keep us posted. Otherwise, was the owner intersted in parting it out in place? Oh, and hi all I'm new to the forum, I'll post some pictures of my daily driver project soon.

Welcome to the forum! We have plans for some afternoon recon work on this thing later today. I will get a bunch of photos and a decision will be made from there. From what I see so far, $1000 might be a stretch on the value. I have one that is drivable and has a title that only cost $100 more than this guy wants. We will see if he has any flexibility on the price.
