Hydroboost seal

Hydroboost seal

Postby Eck » Wed Jan 13, 2021 11:15 am

I need the main seal for the main piston. I have ordered a few but USPS has it stuck somewhere in their system.

Does anyone have one local that I could buy or use and then replace when mine come in?

Long shot I’m sure.

Ive got a rebuild kit. If it’s in there, we can make that work.

That is awesome-- it should be in there but it is the larger round seal in this picture. If you are around later this afternoon ( after 4:30-- I could swing by and grab it)! Thanks!

if it's not in the kit you could try Rocket Seals in Den.

Tim had me covered but thanks for the local recommendation. I was hoping to have it all back together and tested today but I snapped an AN fitting tightening everything up so now I wait for the mail system once again.

The 5/16 24 o ring to 6 AN for the hydroboost low pressure. I believe it’s also called the spittier. It is the port that normally has the hose barb fitting.

labwork 6 an x 5/16-24 o Ring hydroboost spittier/Return Port https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TWJVX7C/re ... UTF8&psc=1

This is what I just got. Seems like good enough quality- just don’t over tighten this fitting since it is so small and is only low pressure anyways.

Cool, thanks. I'll order that labwork one. Hydratech sells on, but its 2x the price and they've got warnings all over their site to only torque to 10 ft/lbs and hold it while you attach a hose.
