Spare tire and wheel

Postby Justin » Mon Jul 25, 2011 6:26 pm

Looking for a spare 35" tire, worn is fine, just needs to get me home. Mud terrain tread preferred. Also looking for a 15x10 wheel, ideally a black D-hole. Thanks!

If I had a use for the other 3 I'd be all over that. Thanks, though.

If only. I wish I had a place to store it, that'd be cool.

Might consider a narrow spare tire. Less weight to pack around and don't stick out as much if you're hanging it off the back bumper. Maybe be harder to find tho.

I am picking up these 2 wheels today or tomorrow. Still need to get a cheap 31" as an emergency spare.
Any suggestions?
Justin, if you want the extra wheel, let me know.

Check the classifieds on colorado4x4.org for that size spare. Guys upgrading to larger all the time, or factory take-offs.

I have 4 31" tires on rims here, anytime you want to come by and take one or all 4 - they are yours. Just glad to get them out of the shop.

Let me know.

Certainly sweigum gets first dibbs, but I might be interested in a couple tires:
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2298

Might be able to squeeze a 31" tire in there if the OD is smaller than 30".

Wow!!! Thanks Greg and Viper. I live about C470 and Ken Caryl. Sounds like you aren't too far away Greg. Not sure Viper????? I am home right now taking care of my 12 year old dog who is on her last leg. Don't know what is keeping her alive. It is maybe just hours or a couple days :(

Give me a call and I'll make arrangements asap (based on my dog's schedule) to drive my rig over and pick one up. I hate to leave until she does. I really appreciate it!!

She passed Saturday morning about 3:00. Great little Boston Terrier, Pepper.
Thanks. Dogs are great pals.

Also, picking up the wheel and tire from Phil today. Thanks Phil. Need an original jack if someone has one to sell.
