Small metal plate

Postby Justin » Tue Aug 09, 2011 5:18 pm

Does anyone have a small (4-6" square) piece of steel or aluminum plate that I could buy off them? Something around 3/16ths would be perfect. I'm fabbing a new plate to mount my hydroboost unit.

If you don't have any luck on here, Lowe's and HD always have a small selection of steel.

Not sure yet. I'd like to, but I've been gone lots for Bronco stuff and should probably help parent the kids. If it wasn't in the Springs I'd be all over it. Do you get up north at all? Otherwise I can come down there.

Maybe I can network it up to you via Entourage. I'll see if he can swing by my (our) work and pick it up. I'll be cutting it out of a bulk piece so let me know the exact size(s) and I'll cut it to your request.

I will help however I can - just let me know when you wanna meek up 76. I am working crazy hours with a new software implementation but can always break away for lunch. I am hoping to get up to Justin's this weekend.

Justin - you may wanna PM GMAN. He fabbed up a real nice piece from aircraft aluminum and it is slightly angled as well. Looked amazing.

Cool, I may be connecting with him anyway. 5"x5" should do the trick. What thickness is it? Also, shoot me your paypal info and how much you want and I'll be happy to get some payment taken care of. Chad, thanks for the heads up. I knew someone had done some hydroboost magic, but couldn't remember who it was. Thanks!

I'll be seeing Zillacon tomorrow, I'll cut it out to give to him. It is 3/16" thick, no paypal needed due to no charge.

Cool, thanks! I go right past his place on a regular basis, so connecting shouldn't be too hard.

Justin -

I have plenty of 6" X 1/4" thick steel plate. Let me know and you are welcome to stop by and cut off all you need - 1/4" thick. I think I have about 6' of it in the rack.
