31 tires

Postby Gregg » Mon Sep 05, 2011 6:08 pm

As much as I'd like to get a lift first and then buy 33's, my current 31's have got some bad cracking/splitting. Does anyone have or know someone with used (and safe) 31's to get me around for a year before I lift er' up?
Thanks!

Have you thought about cutting the fenders more and going with 33's? They'll fit a stock suspension with few issues if you aren't too worried about keeping lots of sheet metal.

Just a large cut flair like the warflairs and 33's wont rub stock. My dads ran that for a while before he lifted it.

I'd be thinking twice, too. I really like the old school look of your truck. I'd still cut it, and there are lots of good craigslist deals on 33s.

Man, I agree with you.......I love the look of your ride as it is.

Will look (and wheel) better with 3.5" lift and 33" tires.

Hey Gregg - what is with the new avatar? Looks like that is Sigmund Freud and I am assuming there is an very interesting Freudian slip you should share with the class.

Maybe you could pay him via paypal and have somebody from COS pick them up for you ?

If they aren't to your liking you could easily sell them to get your money back.

I had BFG ATs on the Taco and was not impressed with how quickly they wore down. If you make something happen with that guy selling them, let me know and I'll run a shuttle for you. I still need to get wheels up to 76, so I can run them in the same trip.
