Stock pitman arm

Postby crawlercreations » Sun Aug 13, 2017 6:35 pm

Before I order a used arm from wildhorses I figure I'll ask here. I'm looking for a stock pitman arm that'll work on a '78 or '79 4x4x2 gearbox(I can't remember if the stock bronco arm fits that box) but I need one for my uncle's truck. Let me know if you can help me out and how much you want please!

Pictures of truck attached. It's 1963 I put a 522 stroker in, zf5 speed and now I'm in the middle of full new suspension (just leaf springs on full custom mounts), Sterling 10.5 rear end, Dana 60 front end, 4 wheel power disc brakes front and rear, power steering, and about 4" of lift on 35's.

Cool truck, but that's a lot of beef for a street cruiser!

Build it once is the idea. It is a 3/4 ton truck and he does haul heavy stuff in the bed and plans to tow his SAS full-size bronco on 37s with it so beef will be needed. The engine is just for fun really though. Happy to say I built that for him too. Mild cam has it around 600 h.p. and 600 lb.ft. of torque.

Very nice truck, I believe the pitman arms are the same, I've given so many away I might be out, but I'll check my pile.

Thanks for the info!

If no one has one by tomorrow morning I'll have to order one from a bronco vendor asap.
