FORD AOD/AODE/4R70W 4WD TRANS TO DANA 20 ADAPTER - $550 + shipping
EXTREME OUTPUT SYSTEM KIT FOR USE WITH DANA 20 - $429.99 + shipping
Total: $1000 +/-

Atlas $2,735.09 ++

If i could use the Dana 20 with hardened output shaft and ZF-5 Adapter in my red bronco with the new build I would consider the atlas.. but doing the math doesn't make sense. Need the money to go elsewhere

Too bad Atlas is so $$$. They are really nice and hold up well.

Once I had my atlas in hand it actually felt, to me, to be a good deal. The amount of machine work just in the one piece case was impressive. I can definitely understand wanting to keep a stout little dana 20 though. The only reasons I upgraded was I needed more gearing and I was worried about the tiny front output on 40s. Now I've been considering 42" stickies so I'm definitely glad I upgraded!
