Help! Need Auto Steering Column Flange

Missing that critical piece to your build or resto?

Pardon my lack of knowledge but, I have an auto column but mine was converted to a floor shift so I'm not actually using the shift collar or seemingly anything that would need it to be an auto column. Would it be possible for you to take the flange you needed out of mine and mine still be usable? Or could we swap parts in from a manual column? This could be a dumb question but just wanted to help out if it's at all possible for me to do so.

Are you going to use the column I gave you or is it not to your spec's?

That's what I am trying to use, the internals were in tough shape and was filled with mud but I am trying to resurect it or spend $1000 on a column to do it right. Just want this project to end so I can get some other stuff done.

Dukie give me a call when u get a chance.

Sorry man, I thought that column was in better shape. I was just trying to help you out.

Oh jeez yeah can't beat that! So now that I have the shift collar off and it's broken anyways, does anyone know if I can put a collar piece off a manual column on there just to have it all smooth and not with a big hole where a shifter would go? Or is there a shift collar delete piece for floor shift conversions or something like that? Would be nice to clean up the column while I have it all apart.

Ah thanks. Might go this route for 1/2 the price since I definitely lack bondo skills. http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showth ... p?t=172676

I have the parts for a smooth column or an auto and turn signal switchs. All are from junk yards in good to excelent shape. Call Mike at 303-819-8174. I have 1 complete setup for a manual smooth column with every thing except bearing for $100.00. Includs switch housing, smooth coller, turn signal switch with or w/o emergency flasher on column, switch lever screws spring and nut. I have about 20 smooth collors and switch housings. Call my cell # because I dont spend much time in front of a computer this time of year. I do have some of these parts in auto. also.
