Igloo cooler console

Postby mickphatmac » Wed Aug 29, 2018 7:42 am

Does anyone have one of these old igloo center console armrest?

I think they were called the Igloo Kool Rest.

I would be interested no matter what the color, looking for kind of a cool retro console for mine.

I like the second one down, and the thought of a 12 pack at your fingertips driving a 50-year-old vehicle!!! Niiiiiiiiiicccccce!!!

I did one on my craigslist tour around the United States and they are shipping it to me for a grand total of $30 bucks.

So have you conducted the all important scientific test to see how many (barley) pop cans actually fit in there?

And just how cold can you get them if you add salt to the water/ice mix?

In the name of science....

My rig still isn't moving under it's own power yet so I can roll the windows down, listen to the garage radio and test it out!

Best advice I've received in a while! HA!!!

It's hard to gauge depth, but I am guessing 10 barely sodas!

What if you lay 'em down and free them from the plastic?
