Liftgate issues.
So there are these two prongs that retract out of the body when you turn the lift gate handle, and one of them has had problems releasing and it worked if i tightned the screw and turned the handle at a certain angle. now it seems not to work at all. so question is do i need a brand new lift gate, or is there someway to fix the moving parts.

Re: Liftgate issues.
Open the back access cover off the inside of the gate (2 philips screws). It may just need the nuts tightened, or there are simple plastic clips (that break) that hold the latch rods to the handle. The plastic clips are available at Napa or Carquest, etc.
