Sea foam cleaner, whats the word?
My friend David was talking to me about it awhile back, he has a 1980 camaro with a 350, he told me he used it as directed and there was a noticeable difference after the treatment.
What do you all think?

Re: Sea foam cleaner, whats the word?
Well I am not sure how much it really helps when using it to clean via the vacuum sipping but I can tell you what it is great for.
Cleaning motorcycle carb circuits Fogging motors that will be stored for a while Freeing up pistons on motors that have seized from sitting
I have used it 4 or 5 times on motors that I have picked up for various bikes and cars to unstick the piston without gouging the walls or damaging the rings. It has worked so well that anytime I buy a motor I pull the plugs, fill it up and let it soak. Even if the motor will be installed in a couple weeks.

a lot of people claim improved throttle response and idle even in cars with engines that are running pretty well, and that is what i was wondering more so than anything. that is good information though.

If you do it right your neighbors will love you for a long time.Cause it will make a huge smoke plume.Clears out the bugs though! But it does work pretty well.

To use to its full potential, you need a canister with a hose attached to the bottom and have a limiting valve in the middle of the hose, then you to have steady constant drops flowing though the hose. After that you want a vacuum tee to create a leak and that will make it a fine mist. This is with the end of the hose on the booster hose or whatever vacuum is closest to the carb / throttle body. I think its one of the best chems for carbon build up.
We have done before and after teardowns on engines after using the product and does do a great job. The tear downs weren't for the product but for vehicles that couldn't be saved with it. Mostly for seized up valve guides. I have had vehicles with misfires due to carbon build up and this chem did clean it up. .

I run it in the gas tank for a fuel system cleaner. Works great. Also use it in the fuel to store the vehicle so the gas doesnt gum up and tarnish.

Yep, every few months I use it in the fuel system. Also, if you have an older engine that hasn't been rebuilt, this stuff is great.... http://www.restoreusa.com/Engine_Restorer.html
