Post Putting rear shoulder restraints in
I see that Wild Horses has the retractable shoulder belts on sell this month and I've really been wanting to put them in. I already have a set in the front and love em.

Has anyone done them for the back seat? I assume I'm going to have to drill some holes this time.

I watch the specials but must have missed these - I will have to check 'em out.

Anyone wanting to do shoulder belts on a budget should check out the fronts on the older S-10 style blazers. They are a freestanding unit (not inside the interior panels) and are a pretty easy upgrade. We have them in the fronts and look like they would work well in the back. The only difficulty with the back is the upper mounts. On the fronts you can either weld a bracket to the cage/roll bar or use the bolt location for the rear bars on some of the roll bars. The recoil portion tucks in between the seat and the side well.

I have a full family cage, so lots of places to weld/drill for mounting the upper portion. I found one thread on ClassicBroncos.com that talked about putting these in the rear seat and it sounded straight foreward.
