Re: dom steering setup (stone crusher style) Heims really suck on the street. Do the set-up justin has. I also run that on my 79 and am happy with it.

Re: dom steering setup (stone crusher style) i 100% agree with crawlercreation , i have run rod ends / heim joints on trac bar all steering comp ,rear traction bar , hyd assit ram, throttle cable .ect ,just to name a few spots that they live on Molley . and she has good road maners and very responsive steering . none of the mounting holes have worn out , but just like everything else rod ends will wear out if you use and abuse them ! p.s. aircraft also use rod ends . my 2-1/2 cents

Re: dom steering setup (stone crusher style) I like heims just fine if they're quality. I just didn't want to go that way due to availability. I can get a GM rod end anywhere in BFE for $25. Granted, it probably won't be the Moogs I'm running, but good luck finding a heim. I also like the fact that I can grease them and at least flush some of the gunk out.
