In case you were thinking about buying some 5/8s heater hose from Advance, think again. I bought 7 feet of it a few months ago and replaced all the hose under the hood. I started to notice tiny leaks from little pin holes. On closer inspection, there were pinholes every 2" or so on all the hoses! I took the extra I had back to Advance today and we went back and inspected the box it came in...the entire roll had pinholes. It looks like a manufacturing defect and they quickly refunded my $. I'm not sure if all the product is like that but I'm not buying it from them again.

I went to Napa and they had none. Went to O'Riley and they had Gates brand. Just got done replacing all the hose.

Shoulda saved it for garden hose to water the lawn

I must have been one of the lucky few to get that roll from that Advance...oh well.

Good idea on the garden hose....I should have asked them for the roll for free;)
