Me personally, I don't like the look of the pre-runner rigs. I like the classic lines of the original Ford design.

No offense if you were considering buying something like this, but I think I'd have to laugh if I saw these panels on a truck driving down the road.

I see A LOT of trucks on Carson sporting the prerunner panels and not a one of them looks as if it has ever seen any use in this capacity.

I will be the first to say it. I like the pre-runner look. On trucks and SUV's even these early bronco's. I would love to have a sand rig / buggy with that kit on it. Not very useful for a driver though.

I like it on the buggy. Function over form. Not sure I'd paint it pink, and I like a more classic look for a true EB.

Tube frame buggy I think that is fricken bad ass. Would not put it on anything that wasn't fully capable of using it though.

so a mixed 50/50 but all almost agree only if it for a extream purpose only buggy type deal no daily driver, they havent made a ton of these kits i thought it maybe look cleaner then just cutting fenders to fit tires like 70 percent of people do plue rear exhaust wholes made into it to move it out of way n give u clearence nice idea

I know the guy who owns that bronco. If you want to talk to him, I'll see if I can set that up. Let me be the first to say he doesn't baby it.
IE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCBdhJaorrg
http://www.broncofix.com/viewtopic.php?t=1589

You'd have to ask him for the reason for the color, but it is HIS bronco. It's gone thru several transformations to get there, but always been that color.

Anyway, for anything but a buggy - these panels aren't good and they wouldn't even come close to hanging on anything stock. However, he may also know of some panels that are not so extreme.
