So to correct my lean I'm going to shim the left rear spring. I think I need at least a 3/4" block in there. Anyone available to cut one up for me? I do not have the tools to do this.

What I did was jack up the axle directly under the spring perch until the Bronco sat level. I had to go up at least 1" to make it look somewhat even. I had to go up 1.5" to get a level even on the rear bumper.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd be happy to compensate with or $.

Is that hole large enough for the WH springs? I think they use a bigger nipple than stock...maybe not.

I was just curious twhy your truck would lean if you had newer springs. Something with the springs or frame?

Mystery lean. Some Broncos are born with it. Some contract it over time.

Yea...it's the head of the center bolt that fits into the spring perch (or in this case will fit into that shim). You were right though, the bolt is 7/16 but the HEAD of the bolt is 5/8". If you could drill it out to 5/8" that would be sweet:)

I don't think you have that right airbur. This shim needs to bolt to the spring pack, so you may need longer centering bolts. (napa)

I just installed wedges on mine and if you set the head of your bolt into the wedge, there is nothing to hold the axle in the center of the spring. But if you run your bolt thru the shim, that holds it to the spring pack and then the bolt head still sticks down below the shim and into the spring perch.

Make sure you put a clamp on your leaf pack before you loosen the bolt. Also, make sure this clamp will not interfere with the installation of the shim.

Hmmmmm..... Getting confused. I think I get now that I have to get a new center bolt for the leaf spring pack that is longer and will bolt the shim to the sprin pack? That makes sense. The hole that is in the stock leaf perch is what I'm concerned with. The diameter of that hole needs to be the same as the head of the new center bolt...right?

the hole in the perch is standard. There are two sizes of centering pins. 3/8" and 7/16".

If Rox does not make it, I will be there and glad to grab the shim from Zilla

Zill....thank you for the shim! I finally picked it up from Jeff yesterday. Got it installed. It has definitely helped with my lean. I think I am the only one that can notice it now.

Note to self: Bolt shim and leaf pack back together BEFORE remounting the spring on the perch. I tried it the other way around first and failed horribly.

Jeff....thank you for the longer center bolt! It was JUST long enough...by about 1/8"! I breathed a sigh of relief when I turned the nut the first time and it grabbed:)
