Re: tire carrier hubs
I think most bought this kit.... http://www.emsoffroad.com/store/index.p ... e7d61f7177 . It is the most complete kit I have found and it is of nice quality.

Re: tire carrier hubs
That's a nice kit CC. Are you taking about a D44 hub? I have just a normal hinge, but wish I would have used a hub so you can lock it in any position. Mine is from Slee Offroad, but not sure he sells just the hinges anymore. J.D.

Re: tire carrier hubs
both of mine, tire and gas rack are rockstompers. I believe that is what I paid, also bought the big heavy D ring mounts from him. I prefer the look of the larger mount, not really any stronger me thinks, just more appealing to my eye.

Re: tire carrier hubs
I put a few of these together for some friends who went with plate bumpers. They look nice and can be locked in multiple positions. GM or Jeep 44 hubs have a thicker wall and are better suited for this purpose. I used Dana 30 spindle and stub axle for the anchor point. The grease seal hasn't been installed yet and is weather tight when complete. D
