Newbanator
Hello All, I'm Keith! I live in Firestone Colorado I'm yet another newbie. Looking to meet some new friends and learn more about my new hobby "The Harold" My 74 Ranger I just recently had a family member ship it to me from MS, where is sat for 3 years under a tree. It was driven back and forth to work for 30 some odd years and then left for dead. I've wanted one since I was a kid, So I finally broke down and bought it, NO Rust, REALLY NO rust So i'm currently dealing with all the Years of maintenance "neglect" I'm not even sure where to start, I've driven it a little, enough to freak me out, Crazy steering, Plus gas is filling up the bowl, So I started by yanking the tanks out and while there out will start replacing bushings/ doing some cleaning and whatever else I run by, I have the tanks out and I'm not sure if I need new ones or what, SUCH A NEWB!!! <===== Thats my bronco world as of now! I'm envious of Ketchup By at 2011-07-07

Re: Newbanator
Hey There Keith -
I think I have seen a pic of your Bronco on cb.com in the 'Show me Your Lubers' thread. I think this club has a pretty good percentage of uncut Broncos. With JRE's Nick's Trix, Zilla, Pony, Brianut, Sweigum, Jay, 76, ZOSO (temporarily lol), Cascade (1/3), Vragor, etc. we LUBR's are definitely the minority but definitely representin'! Even if you are a so-called 'Newb' - there is a lot of talented help in this group and proof is that mine drives!
I may be up in your area at the Colorado Speedway this weekend. Happy you found the club and a big welcome.

Re: Newbanator
I am relatively new here as well. I can say this is about as helpful and supportive a group of guys as I have ever met. Their level of knowledge and talent is intimidating to me. I feel like a complete moron most of the time. I have been mostly a "driver" of all kinds of cars over the years but hope to learn more from these guys on how to "take care" of my 66 Bronco. Welcome!

Just had my first meet and greet with Justin. Thanks for swinging by and hanging out. I appreciate the camaraderie and the opportunity to start learning,
I'm just amazed at the team effort and willingness in others to assist.

Re: Newbanator
I had a great time as well. Always nice to hang out and talk trucks. Guys, this dude has one of the most rust free EBs I've ever seen. Not sure how it managed to stay that way sitting under a tree, but there you are. Won't take much to be a really nice driver.

Re: Newbanator
Welcome to the wonderful world of early Broncos. This is a great group of guys and gals and always willing to throw a wrench or two into the tool box and help one another out. That looks like one sweet Bronco. Clean it up and shine it and it's ready for the shows too.
