I scouted out Ouray for ya.
I feel so bad that I can't make the Ouray camping trip that I spent my weekend and a day each side scouting the area for you guys. Yep, looks all good here And here Nothing wrong with this Those look fun to drive over West side looks good East side looks good Watch the gas prices All the passes are clear. 1500 miles of road checking just for you guys. I rode the million dollar highway 3 times in 3 days. Life's tough.

Gas prices. Gulp. Ouch my pocket book just quivered.
Thanks for the teaser pix. I sure love that area.

Re: I scouted out Ouray for ya.
Thank you for sparing us the sticker shock of diesel prices. Dan, ya better lay off the skinny pedal so you can make the trip on one tank!

Re: I scouted out Ouray for ya.
I've just gotten back in to good graces with my neighbors after an 11PM, 2500RPM, open header 460 CID alcohol inspired carb tuning night. I think those stickers might set me back.

Re: I scouted out Ouray for ya.
The gas price was actually from Aspen. I hadn't looked at the price till I had put 2 gallons in. I decided 2 would get me over Independence Pass and on to Buena Vista so I stopped.
