Luggage Rack
After my "Clampets go to Ouray" adventure..................
I am looking for a removable luggage rack for my hardtop.
Long shot I know but worth a shot

Re: Luggage Rack
Now that would be a cool tech day event. Building some hard top racks.

Re: Luggage Rack
I have been watching CL for a Jeep luggage rack that goes over the rear tire. In my search, I see roof safari racks occassionally and they are fairly inexpensive used. Warrior Rack.jpg
I then thought about a Jeep safari rack that could come on and off. If I added a rack on top of my Bronco, it wouldn't fit in the garage. Wouldn't want to run your new rack into the garage like Zilla's neighbor lol. Jeep Rack.jpg
However, I think I am adding a receiver hitch (thanks Justin) and a receiver hitch Cargo Rack that I have for our SUV. I am hoping that will handle camping supplies. That will give some extra space without needing a Hard Top rack. Just a couple suggestions.

Re: Luggage Rack
I'd be down to build one for my trailer, of course it would also be able to fit a hard top.

Re: Luggage Rack
Could do something like this http://www.supermotors.net/clubs/ful... ... dia/827035Then get a storage box for the roof. The clamps on those boxes would probably be big enough to clamp onto a cage if the top were off. Might do this to have the option of tossin the snowboard on the roof.
