Anyone know a good local place that can do some custom shaft splining?

I have never used them but have heard good things from people that have. Masterline Axle. They are down off of Hampden and Santa-fe. 1-800-525-1963.

What are you trying to get some splines into?

I'm toying with the of resplining a transmission shaft. If rear axles shafts can be resplined I don't see why I can't do the same for a trans shaft. There appears to be plenty of material for what I want to do and the trans shaft only see's about 1/10th the torque of a rear axle. I just need to see if it's going to be cost effective.

i believe moser does it too, but you would have to mail them the part

Call Scott at Rockstomper, he should be able to do it locally and his work is top notch.

I just found in my box o' goodies, a c4 to d20 adapter, output shaft and bearing retainer, if you need??

I live in the springs but all my axle machine work including respline and BC WAH install was done by High Plains Tool and Mold in Sheridan.

That's a helluva drive for a machine shop. Those boys must do some excellent work.

Still not done. Too many irons, not enough funding. I'm trying to make some cheap Bronco C4 output shafts.

Bringing this back up. I went over to High Plains Tool to see if they could do this but they were closed. I talked to a neighbor and was told Tom Staub suffered a stroke in December and his shop is at least temporarily closed.

I called Masterline and was told they don't do resplining. Too bad because their website reads like they have all the equipment to do it.

So I'm still looking.
