Ignition cylinder and keys?
For some reason, I have to pull my keys out of the ignition slightly to get the tumbler to turnover and start the bronco. I need to replace that before it fails permanently. Anyone have one laying around with two keys? Not concerned with matching the door.
Wow, just saw Tom's has what I need for $8.95 brand new. Maybe that's the way to go.

Re: Ignition cylinder and keys?
I put a matching set of lock & ignition cylinders in this winter. I'm 99.453% sure I've still got the old ignition cylinder & keys. I'll check at work tomorrow if you don't get them new. If I've got it, you can have it for the price of USPS.

The more I think about it, the more I think I should just get new. That way I know they should last me a good long while. I appreciate the off tho Chad!

Makes sense to me.

Re: Ignition cylinder and keys?
I bought a new set from Toms. At first shipping was nearly $20 and I got to thinking maybe it would have been worth taking Chad up on his offer. Then Tom's called me and said they could ship it priority on USPS and saved me $12 in shipping. They could have done the lazy thing and shipped it the expensive way, but they made the effort to call me and I appreciate that. Not only did they save me $12, they also sent the instruction sheet on how to swap the switches out. Something I hadn't done in a while so it was nice to have a refresher. Not that instructions shouldn't come with it, but seems like I have gotten a lot of things lately that should have had them and didn't.

Tom's rocks. I have had nothing but outstanding service from them.

Re: Ignition cylinder and keys?
I've had good luck calling vendors and having them ship USPS when their shipping charges are crazy or I'm ordering something small (gets put in my locking mailbox instead of left on the front step). BC has been especially good about this.

Re: Ignition cylinder and keys?
Funny, I ordered the same set from Tom's and they full-charged me and fed-ex'd it. Just got em yesterday.
