Thanks Viperwolf, that is just what I was wondering.

I grabbed a SD computer at the junk yard, my Carquest said they will take it as a core. So my total cost for a rebuilt one will be about $100.00 (I get our dealership's price discount). That is the route I was going to take. Who make aftermarket CPUs?

I put the hard top back on. Driving my grand daughter to school in the mornings was getting a bit too cold.

Is it sad when a new set of ARP head bolts arrives in the mail and I get excited? My wife rolled her eyes:)

laughing2 I watched you hit it several times on the last big obstacle. Then a somewhat large rock rolled into it, just for good measure. I thought for sure your tie rod was a gonner.

Got a new zinger in the chrome trim on the tailgate from the HiLift retaining wingnut on spare tire carrier (thanks to the waterfall). Got some rock rash on the drivers lower door hinge, several new zingers in the bumpers and both diffs too. Had fun doing all of it too. Oh and a noisy transmission pump when standing the Bronco up at a 30+ degree angle. Seems they protest when low on fluid. Go figure, just when it quits leaking too.

Spent about 7 hours today discovering how much easier the Ford 9" is to disassemble than to swap out the rear diff on the Subaru.

Got all 8 glow plugs changed today. Also put in my new stancor GPR. But I did find something interesting. I didnt need to put in new glow plugs. The plug on the driver side under the valve cover was about to fall off. Once I noticed that the glow plugs ohm'd out within spec. But I changed them anyways.

Mounted my gun rack. I'm ready to go Saturday.

Yeah, my roof is a mess, I had to reweld the bows to the roof skin. The big black thing is a q-pad to help quiet the top, it really "tin canned" on me after I welded the skin to the bows. But it was worth it, the skin banging on the bows was terrible. I'll cover it all up someday, yeah someday.
