80% of it is finished. Next summer I plan on finishing the rest:) Garage is only 550sf.

Damn you Dan;)....I don't want to take that thing down! But if you have a 45K and a smaller garage....there is no denying this one probably is a bit smallish for mine. I bough it at Lowes so may exchange tomorrow.

Preparing to snow bash and get a Christmas tree this weekend! For the last umpteen years it's never been worth the effort to drag my bronco along until this year!! Can't wait!

Pulled the 45K off the ceiling and then reconstructed its box with packing tape. Returned to Lowes and got the 75K:). Got it put together and hoisted back up. Need to run the thermostat line now.

Shoot, we have been working in the garage until 9-10pm every night the last few weeks, we heat with 4-6 hallogen lights, a portable electric glow heater, 4.5" angle grinder and a lincoln wire feed welder... yes we are wearing insulated cover alls etc, but hey - it works for us. No special wiring or plumbing required.

Since I haven't even started it since the platte meet I figured id check the battery. Went out and turned the key on. Let the fuel pump fill the carb. 2 pumps of the pedal and hit the key. Fired up instantly. Let it run a few minutes. Got to love ol reliable.

Hmmm, may need to upgrade to an electric fuel pump. I hate cranking mine for a week to fill the carb if its been sitting.

rdanford - heeps have this problem a lot. The hose in the tank is generally not rated to have fuel on the outside and therefore deteriorates. Sounds like you had the same problem and may again, unless you can find the hose rated for fuel on the outside as well.

kchaser - nice work! Can't wait to see your rig in action!

airbur - garage is looking nice! 65 is nice and toasty for a shop!

Me? I just took it to get a Christmas tree, did some snow bashing! Was fun!

Finally got my paint mixed right & painted my "new" rims. I mixed up some single stage gray that came close to matching Audi's dark gray bumpers. I think the top, grill, and probably the hood bubble (really I'm waiting for the Zillacon/American Rock Rod hood louvers- whats up with that Dan?) will get painted to match. I'm going to try to get rid of all the white in the long run. Sorry, no camera, I'll take some pics tomorrow. Hopefully be able to swap my tires to the new rims next week.

Here are some pics, didn't want to wait 15 minutes while the booth lights turned on so they are dark. I couldn't get paint into the crack between the inner & outer rim, so there is a little white poking through. I may try to touch this up, or I may just leave it as is, I don't think you'll ever see it once things are mounted & installed.

Didnt do anything to the bronco again but I did work in my garage. A couple months ago I scored a corian counter top from work. It was going in the trash so I took it. Today I built it into a work bench. Then pulled the fuel bowl off the PSD to rebuild/reseal it up to fix the fuel leak. That didnt go so well. I tapped out the pressure relief seat and it went flying across the garage and I cant find it. So now Im without a truck until I can order a new one.
