Help me wire up this heater please....
Inside there is a white and black wire which I know go to the white and black to the outlet.....but where do I attach the grounding wire? To the chassis?

There should be a green screw in there somewhere. Or a brass screw with a washer on it. And if none of the above run a tek screw onto it somewhere on the chassis and wrap the ground around that.

There a ground on the external panel but I believe that is for the thermostat (to have the fan-only) option. There is also another ground on the fan-motor case, but I can't find anything inside so I think I'll just ground the chassis.

I think I figured it out...there is a wire from the panel that is grounded on the back side of the item that the arrow is pointing at...it's just to the chassis...I just use one of those mounting screws.

I think I got it. Just ran 45 feet of thermostat wire and hooked it up. Wed Mr. Plumbdoctor arrives to bring in the gas and vent it:)
