Post Angled Brake Mount
Jeff stated that there is a guy in Colorado Springs who makes angle brackets for Power Boosters or Hydroboosters.

I want to do a Astro Hydro Boost, but don't think it will clear the aftermarket Valve covers on my 351.

Anyone have this guys info or is the eBay mount the way to go?

Chad, the guy in COS has dissapeared (he used to post on CL).

I would say ebay is the way at this time.

PS.....I have a welder you can borrow.

I wanted to support a local guy, but I think he would have found our club by now or someone would know him.

Does anyone else want an angle bracket? Let me know and maybe we can put together a discount on getting a couple at a time. I will contact the guy on eBay. I will be doing this in the next couple months so hit me up if you are doing a conversion over the winter.

ROX - You are too kind on the welder. It may actually be TOO kind. I would have to get you something in return - fill your bottle, welder cover, welder cart, wire, cash, beer, etc. I definitely appreciate this. I don't know how to weld. Luckily, my father in law is here next week and can show me how to weld. He used to build race cars and custom trailers so he knows his way around a welder.

Thanks for the offer, Jeff - I will get with ya next week. I will definitely owe ya.

A local colorado springs guy to ask may be Chris Hefty of Hefty Fabworks. He is currently building an EB. Builds a lot of stuff for fullsize broncos.

I have an astro booster sittin in the garage. I found it yesterday. Really wanna look into put this on. Even tho I think the manual brakes work great and have never had an issue.

I imagine a booster bracket would actually be pretty easy to fab up, but it might be easier to just buy one from BC. I know you said you wanted to support local, but it might be a little easier on the wallet if you get BC's unit. It's nice and it will definitely work with the 351. Might also come down here one saturday and talk to our local EB junkyard guy, Don Allison. Most of us COS guy know him and he might have a booster bracket you can buy.
