Looking for an electrician and plumber
Been a while since I've been on the board; just too much stuff going on. Anyway, I hope this is the right section to ask. I bought a house and close next Thursday and there are a few things I'd like to do right away. Mostly trying to get the garage/shop ready for some winter wrenching next year.
I'd like to run a new gas line off of the meter and outside of the house for 3 "appliances" (gas grill, firepit, garage for gas heater). I'd like to find a plumber who is willing to let me trench the yard to save some bucks.
Also, the detached garage has an ariel electical line run and I'd like to have it buried instead. I'd also like to potentially increase the AMP service to the garage possibly with a sub box. Hoping to find an electrician that will let me trench the yard for this as well.
The garage is about 50ft away from the rear of the house, the electrical box is on the back of the house and the gas main is on the side at the rear of the house if that helps. I'm not sure what the AMP is on the current garage breaker but could find out.
Anyway, lots of expenses with the new house and I'm trying to save some money but still want it done right.
Any recommendations are appriciated. thanks

I am not sure where you are located but I do know a good electrician, he lives in Lafayette area. He will be doing similar work to my shop when it is completed. pm me if that is near where you live and I can get you his info.

I would contact PlumbDoctor for your plumbing needs - he has an amazing resume of residential and commercial plumbing.

Re: Looking for an electrician and plumber
Any plumber will let you trench to clip a coupon. I don't know one that enjoys that part of the job.

There is an electrician in the club, lives in englewood. He was at the bumper build and later came back to replace some bad breakers. I will send you his info when I get back.in town on tuesday.

Re: Looking for an electrician and plumber
Thanks, that would be great. Plumbdoctor is coming by on Wednesday so it would be good to find someone who can meet up at the same time.
